3-5 Subject Learning Goals for this subject.
Goal 1: Better understand the processes involved with designing and developing an innovative learning program. To do this, participate in organized university activities, collaborate with other students and staff members within my professional contents, and make critical observations and educated judgements of researched design methods and development practices.
Goal 2: Research and provide academic evidence regarding the implications of designing professional learning programs with a focus on the target group of Vocational Educational and Training and our high school’s flexible learning program. Examine the complex relationship between theory and practice of this type of design and its application within the learning space.
Goal 3: Implement knowledge from goals one and two into the planning and delivery of Vocational and Educational Training innovative practice, including Hume Central’s Flexible Learning Program / Group. Communicate this educated knowledge by means of content and interpersonal skills by the use of advanced technology and communications.
Goal 4: Design and deliver an innovative learning initiative for either Hume Central’s Vocational Educational and Training team or Hume Central’s Flexible Learning Program group. By identifying an issue or opportunity which would benefit from this design process and engage in planning, decision making, evaluating and assessing students learning from this innovative design practice.
